SOAR
SOAR helps moderate-income buyers who earn too much for many traditional assistance programs but still need help getting into a home.
- Loan amount: Up to $30,000 for down payment and closing costs
- Interest rate: Matches your first mortgage rate, not to exceed 5%
- Repayment: Amortized over 30 years, with a balloon payment due in 10 years (FHA loans) or 15 years (Conventional loans)

- Repayment: Deferred for 30 years. No monthly payments required.
- Use of funds: Down payment and closing costs
Property requirements: The home must be on a permanent foundation and cannot be on leased land.
